Native American tribes traveled to Wyoming’s Medicine Bow Mountains to harvest wood for especially fine bows. In this design, stands of wood alternate with arrows that meet in the center to evoke the Medicine Bow River, an important crossing point through the Continental Divide. Expertly loomed, dyed and woven of pure virgin wool in our Pendleton, Oregon, mill, in a double-sided design for two different looks.

Full length unlined duster with a fur-lined hood, fur cuffs, lined raglan sleeves, waist tie belt with loops and lined patch pockets

Lindsey Thornburg allocates a portion of sales to Native American organizations, such as Chizh for Cheii, NDN Collective and Seeding Sovereignty.

Body of duster is made from Pendleton's Medicine Bow Blanket. Napped Pendleton blankets: 82% Wool, 18% Cotton. Wool Cashmere facings and Silk Rayon peachskin lining. Leather Brown Mongolian Fur is a shaggy long hair Mongolian sheep shearling.
