Harding Smoking Robe
One of the most popular designs ever made by Pendelton, crafted of USA-made wool from their Oregon mill. In 1923, President Warren Harding and his wife Florence came west to dedicate a portion of the old Oregon Trail. At the ceremony, local chiefs presented the first lady with a Pendleton shawl inspired by the Chief Joseph blanket.
Mid-length unlined robe with a fur-lined hood, fur cuffs, lined raglan sleeves, waist tie belt with loops and lined patch pockets.
Body of Smoking robe is made from Pendleton's Harding Shale blanket. Napped Pendleton blankets: 82% Wool, 18% Cotton. Wool Cashmere facings and Silk Rayon peachskin lining. Moon Mongolian Fur is a shaggy long hair Mongolian sheep shearling.
